Our range of equipment allows us to lift, lower, jack up, slide or skid single loads well in excess of 10,000t weight. It includes a large number of hydraulic jacks, pumps, skidding systems, control units, monitoring and modular lifting/jacking frames like: lifting towers, generator lifting frames and  turntables, presenting the capability and flexibility to perform virtually any project requiring lifting, lowering or horizontal moving.

VSL Specialized Hydraulic Equipment

Our equipment park includes a large number and variety of hydraulic jacks with piston-strokes between 160 and 550 mm and capacities from 100 to 5,800kN. In case of exceptional loads and/or required high speed tandem units can be applied.

Devices like hydraulic coilers, emergency devices, sensor controlled measuring units and other system completing installations are available.
Apart, the control systems are designed to meet the client´s requirement for every project. Connections and adaptations of clients control systems are possible.

VSL can also design and supply custom-built hydraulic systems for special applications.

All technical data are based on our standard equipment
Piston strokes vary between 160mm and 550 mm, depending on the type of unit.

  1. Capacity is based on strands Y186S7-15.2 according requirement of EN 10138:2009 or adequate to ASTM A416/416M-10 on strands grade 1860 [270]-15 and a safety factor of s=2,5 with resprect to the minimum breaking force of the strands 
  2. Body dimensions and weight quoted are for the basic version of the SMU motive units with the maximum piston stroke. 


The VSL Skidding systems (VSS)

 The VSS is designed for moving heavy loads on ground in any direction even over long distances. The systems main components are the skid shoes, the push-pull units, the skid tracks, the hydraulic pumps and the monitoring system. 

VSL can design and supply custom-built skidding systems for nearly any application.
